Construction output price index third quarter 2019: increasing prices in all construction branches

Vienna, 2019-11-08 – The construction output price index for the entire building construction and civil engineering sector (base year 2015) reached 110.1 index points in the third quarter of 2019, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents a growth of 3.0% over the third quarter of 2018. In comparison to the second quarter of 2019, the construction output price index increased by 0.5%.

The construction output price index of building construction changed to 112.6 index points for the third quarter of 2019 (+3.2% in annual comparison), and the index of civil engineering increased by 2.7% (106.8 index points) in the same reference period.
