Vienna, 2022-05-04 – In March 2022, the turnover of Austrian retail trade increased by 2.6% in nominal terms and decreased by 4.2% in real terms compared to March 2021, according to preliminary results by Statistics Austria.

In the first quarter of 2022, turnover increased in both nominal (+8.2%) and real terms (+2.3%).

Results were calculated by Statistics Austria, Short Term Statistics Trade.
