| The Survey at the start of studies is carried out by Statistics Austria on the basis of § 18/6 of the Education Documentation Act 2020 (Bildungsdokumentationsgesetz 2020) and §§ 26 and 28 of the regulation UHSBV. |
| Students of public universities, private universities, universities of applied sciences and university colleges of teacher education have to fill in the survey form UHSTAT2 (annex 15 of the UHSBV) on the occasion of completion of a Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma or Doctoral studies or university courses or any course for which a Master's degree is awarded. For this purpose the form on www.statistik.at/uhstat/uhstat2/ is available. However, this form is only for students of public universities, private universities and university colleges of teacher education, because in the area of universities of applied sciences data on study-related stays abroad (UHSTAT2) are collected by the universities of applied sciences themselves (§ 16 UHSBV). |
