ICT stands for Information and Communication Technologies and covers a wide range of topics related to digitalisation in Austrian enterprises. This survey is conducted annually among enterprises with ten or more employees in selected economic sectors. The focus is on topics such as internet use, e-commerce, ICT security, use of cloud services, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
Due to harmonised definitions and a uniform methodology, key indicators can be identified for EU-wide benchmarks and goals of the Digital Decade to monitor the progress of digital transformation. Austrian results are available in the autumn of the particular survey year, while EU-wide results are published by the end of the year.
