Statistics on integration provide information on belonging, educational attainment, employment, income, risk of poverty or exclusion, living together, personal life situation, discrimination, attitudes towards minorities and religious communities, language use and German language skills.

The tables on integration are based on various data sources from Statistics Austria, such as the migration survey, microcensus, income tax data and EU-SILC, as well as from the AMS (labour market research/statistics). They are published annually in the Statistical Yearbook Migration & Integration

Subjective views on integration – such as perceived belonging – are taken from the migration survey. In 2025, immigrants from the following countries were surveyed alongside those born in Austria: Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Somalia, Syria, Türkiye and Ukraine.
