The annual Construction completion statistics report on the construction of apartments and new buildings according to features, developers and types of construction. The data is derived from the Building and dwelling register, the law on which also orders and regulates these statistics.

The completeness and data quality were affected by many failures in the past. There have since been improvements. Any failures that still occur are compensated for by estimating late registrations and other allocations. Therefore, regular revisions are initiated.

No results are available for Vienna for extensions, construction or conversion work on existing buildings.

In addition to completions, results on housing disposals are also presented, which subsequently allow the housing stock to be updated.
