The statistics on transfers and educational pathways show how many students transfer to the different types of lower-secondary schools at the end of a school year after primary level and to the different types of upper-secondary schools after lower-secondary level. In addition, educational trajectories such as the time it takes to obtain a lower-secondary school leaving certificate and educational trajectories in upper-secondary schools are presented for the different school types up to the matriculation and diploma examinations or to the final examination. The regional presentation of the results is generally done mainly at the federal province level.
