Description

ATRACK is an Austrian graduate tracking project based on administrative data.  It has been implemented together with the Austrian public universities and contains study-related, demographic as well as labour market information on all graduates and dropouts at Austrian higher education institutions.

ATRACK can be used to evaluate the labour market status, gross salary or the economic sector of the workplace according to demographic (e.g. gender, age) or study-related characteristics (e.g. type of study, ISCED 2013 fields of education and training). Sources are the base registers of the Register-based Census and the Register-based Labour Market Statistics.

S: STATISTICS AUSTRIA, Graduate Tracking. Compiled on 26 February 2021. For data privacy protection reasons, the statistical disclosure control method of "Record Swapping" has been used on a part of the data. Therefore, no reliable assertions can be made for analyses based on very small cell values. The population consists of graduates from public universities in the academic years 2008/09 to 2016/17 who were under 35 years of age at the time of graduation. Individuals who have already obtained a degree of equal or higher value or who attended further education in the academic year following the graduation are excluded from the analyses. - To determine the cutoff date, 36 months are added to the graduation date. The formation of labour market status is dominated by employment before unemployment and further periods of education.
