At the end of June 2024, following a massive expansion of the coverage scope, a overall index of service prices with a base year of 2021 = 100—retroactive to 2021—was published for the first time. Due to the fixed-base nature of the producer price index, with subsequent revisions occurring in years ending with 0 and 5, the service producer price indices will be published as of June 29, 2026, with a new base year of 2025 = 100 and a new ÖNACE 2025 structure, now covering sections H–O (excluding, as before, L, N 70.1, N 72, and N 75). The previous overall index with a base year of 2021 and the ÖNACE 2008 structure will continue to be published via the STATcube links available here, including the chained quarters from 2026 onwards.
