Education-related career monitoring contains structured administrative data on education and the labour market. The aim of this project is to enable the employment careers of all persons living in Austria to be statistically evaluated after they have left a formal educational institution. BibEr is conducted by Statistics Austria together with and on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy and the Public Employment Service Austria.

The careers of the following groups can be analysed: those who have completed formal education, dropouts who did not complete formal education, FABA (Early school leavers), NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) and the target group for "Education until 18". The sources are the base registers of the Register-based Census and the Register-based Labour Market Statistics
