Turnover index

Industry & Construction: The EU-harmonized turnover index is calculated at the level of sections and subsections B to F of ÖNACE 2008 as well as at the level of main industrial groupings (MIG).
First preliminary results are published 40 days after the end of the reporting period, revised data are available after 70 days and in August of the following year following the reporting year.
Baseyear is 2021.

Trade & Services: The turnover index (nominal and real (price-adjusted)) is published for the survey domains of ÖNACE 2008 sections G, H, I, J, L, M (excluding group 70.1 and divisions 72 and 75) and N at the level of divisions and some selected classes and groups. The price-adjustment of the nominal turnover index is done by using the wholesale price index and the consumer price index for the trade sector, and the services producer price index for the service sector. The index is available about 60 days after the end of the reporting period, and a preliminary retail sales index is published after about 30 days. The base year is 2021.
