The useful energy analysis provides information on the final energy consumption e.g. in the industry, services and household sectors, and shows for which purpose the energy is used. The useful energy survey is carried out annually and collects structural data on the uses of energy (e.g. the energy used to generate space heating), which is then applied to the relevant final energy consumption and published both at the level of Austria and the federal provinces.
