This publication presents the results of the survey on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households and by individuals in 2024. Since 2002, Statistics Austria has collected the Austrian data of this European survey. In line with Eurostat requirements, households with at least one household member aged 16 to 74 years and household members falling in this age group were included in this survey. In 2024, in addition to the annual program of questions, questions were asked on a European level about problems encountered with deleting an account, e-government, Internet of Things and Green ICT. Additionally, data on electronic identification and artificial intelligence was collected on a national level on the basis of an additional commission by the Federal Chancellery Republic of Austria. The publication focuses on internet access and internet use, use of health-related online activities and smart health devices as well as ICT use by people with health impairments.

This publication is available in German only.
