The economic cycle of goods and services as well as the generation of income in the production process form the basis for the analysis of a multitude of economic and economic policy issues. In this publication, all this is presented in closed and balanced tables for the reporting year 2019.
Statistics Austria draws a comprehensive and objective picture of the Austrian society and the economy on the basis of scientifically high-quality statistics and analyses. With the figures and data, we as the national statistical institute provide basics for fact-oriented public debates, empirical research and evidence-based decisions in society, politics and the economy. We deliver facts on the challenges and the course to be set in the labour market, in education, in social and economic policy as well as on the sustainable financing of health, care and pensions against the background of demographic change.
