Publications

This publication documents the structure and performance of the Austrian economy (ÖNACE sections C - K). It enables detailed analysis of enterprises, establishments and local units, broken down by sector and region. It also provides basic data for the National Accounts.

Statistics on employed persons, personnel expenditure, turnover and income, production value, purchases of goods and services, gross value added, gross operating surplus and gross investments of the enterprises – in other words, all key indicators for assessing economic structure and performance in the production and service sector – are recorded here. Size range in terms of number of employees, turnover size classes and key economic data provide further relevant information. Performance data for establishments and local units is shown at the regional level.
