The subject of this publication is the statistics on road traffic accidents with persons injured in Austria, which have been compiled and published by Statistics Austria since 1961. The objective of the accident statistics is to continuously monitor and analyse accidents on Austrian roads in order to provide reliable data for research and accident prevention.
Following the overview, the main results of the road traffic accident statistics 2025 are described.
