Education in Figures 2024/25 provides an overview of the current educational situation in Austria – covering data on schools and higher education, educational pathways, the educational attainment of the population, as well as adult education and public expenditure on education. In addition to the nationwide perspective, the publication also takes a closer look at the situation in Austria’s federal provinces.

A particular focus this year is the projection of pupil numbers in the federal provinces and in Austria as a whole.
