This STATreport offers a concise overview of essential health data in Austria. Demographic health information is available for newborns and deceased persons. Reported diseases, as well as the results of cancer and hospital discharge statistics, provide insight into the health status and healthcare of the population. The results of conscription medical examinations also provide insight into the health of 18-year-old Austrians. This information is supplemented by data on work and health, healthcare infrastructure, and healthcare expenditure.
