This report, commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, presents findings from various personal and household surveys on the situation of persons with disabilities in different areas of life. In these surveys, disability was measured using the GALI question on health-related limitations in everyday activities as a proxy variable.

The report does not only update analyses from the initial project report People with disabilities in Austria I (published in 2024). Thanks to newly available data sources it also provides insights into topics that have previously not been covered, such as experiences of discrimination, well-being, and the use of information and communication technologies.
