Survey on service producer prices

Beeing an important national and European Economic short-term indicator, the service producer price indices (SPPI) measure the quarterly average price development for service product groups, as well as for services sectors. The SPPI provides not only information about the economic development of certain service industry sectors, but also illustrates important trends for national enterprises, which are of importance for economic and political decision makers. The collected prices should reflect real market transaction prices including any applicable discounts, rebates, surcharges, but exclude value added tax and subsidies received by the producer.
