Job placement statistics provide information on the number of job placements in Austria. Key figures include the number of job placements in total, via web platforms, by main occupational groups according to OE-ISCO 08 and by federal province.
A job placement is any intermediation activity that leads to an employment relationship.
The survey is compulsory for all companies and institutions that hold a business license for job placement according to the Austrian Labour Market Promotion Act (Section 4 (2), Federal Law Gazette No. 31/1969 as amended).
Information is provided by companies and institutions on all job placements from January 1st to December 31st of the reporting year.
