With the introduction of "Education until 18", young people are required to undergo further training after completing general compulsory schooling. Such training includes technical college or higher school, vocational training in the form of an apprenticeship and participation in other qualification measures. The aim is to lead all young people to qualifications beyond compulsory schooling. Regional coordination offices have been set up to provide advice and support for young people who do not undergo further training.
