Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on European statistics
The individual statistics for the European Statistical System (ESS) are ordered in the first instance by specific EU legal instruments, with the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on European statistics forming the general normative framework and containing the fundamental principles for the compilation of European statistics.
