The Austrian Statistical Society (ÖSG) is a non-profit association of statisticians working in universities and research institutions, public administration, and industry. One of the society’s key objectives is to promote statistical science in all its fields and applications. The ÖSG Statistical Days 2026 will take place from 9 to 11 September 2026 at the premises of Statistics Austria. The aim of the conference is to provide experts from academia, applied statistics, and official statistics with a platform for the exchange of ideas and solutions, as well as for networking.
We warmly invite all interested statisticians to present their research findings and practical experiences at the Statistical Days 2026 and to discuss them with fellow experts. Contributions from academic, official, and applied statisticians are welcome and may address one of the following topics:

We look forward to receiving numerous submissions and to welcoming you to the Statistical Days 2026. The deadline for abstract submission is 31 May 2026. Abstracts are limited to 300 words and will be reviewed by a scientific committee. You may submit your abstract during the registration process.
