National accounts by institutional sectors, annual data

Results for the non-financial sector accounts are reconciled with the annual national accounts main aggregates published in July 2009. Data for the general government sector are based on the results of the compilations in March 2009. The financial sector accounts are published by the Austrian National Bank.

Savings by households continued to rise in 2008, with the ratio of savings reaching 12.0% (2007: 11,3%, 2006: 10.8%)
