Labour market policy

Labour market policy is assigned the task of

• contributing to the prevention and elimination of unemployment
• while ensuring basic social and economic principles
• and thereby bringing together labour force supply and demand as completely, economically viably and sustainably as possible.

The aim of the policy is to ensure the economy is supplied with workers and the employment of all persons who are available to the Austrian labour market.
