1) Health expenditure according to the System of Health Accounts (OECD) include expenditure for long-term nursing care. As no sufficient data is available in this field, long-term care expenditure relies mainly on estimates.
2) Public expenditure for long-term nursing care includes long term care allowance, as well.
3) Includes in-patient long-term nursing care in nursing facilities.
4) Includes expenditure on ambulance services and other services of health care provided by NPISHs and until 1996 expenditure for hospitals run by religious organizations
