After clicking on a link a JAVA applet is downloaded.
Secure connection
If you click on the link for secure connection a window with a security advice may appear. To access the graphic user interface you may click on ‘Yes/Ja’ as well as on ‘No/Nein’, in both cases a working connection will be set up. Moreover, it might be necessary in both cases to approve a security warning for the start of the JAVA applet.
Please consider the following restrictions for guest access mode
- only overview data are free of charge, i.e., the presentation of free data is restricted with regard to their structural depth and with regard to their scope;
- a separate presentation of free data is possible. See chapter “context menus“ and “window options“ within the online help (available in German only) of the ISIS database. If you wish to see all data, data available against charges only are presented in grey (no queries possible), free data are red (queries possible);
- the online help describes the full scope of services supplied by the ISIS database, which is why a number of chapters are not effective in the case in question;
- the preparation or processing of editing formats is not available;
- the preparation or processing of user criteria is not available;
- All options concerning database ISIS data, e.g., a query regarding certain segments, criteria, parameters are stored temporarily only for the lifetime of the session.
Options set for the graphical user interface (as e.g., the option that free data are presented in red) are retained over the end of the current session.
