Secure connection
If you click on the link for secure connection a window with a security advice may appear. To access the graphic user interface you may click on ‘Yes/Ja’ as well as on ‘No/Nein’, in both cases a working connection will be set up. Moreover, it might be necessary in both cases to approve a security warning for the start of the JAVA applet.
STF format
The statistical table format (STF) is the Statistics Austria standard format for the storage of statistical tables. It is based on an XML schema defined in the description language and, therefore, is independent of a certain programme or a specific platform.
On the STF homepage (available in German only), you will find a definition of format, recommendations on the generation of STF files, the source code of the XML schema definition and examples, as well as source code and a documentation of the HTML converter.
