January to December 2015 (final results): increase
in imports (2.8%) and exports (2.7%)

– In the period January to December 2015, total imports amounted to
€133.53 bn and total exports amounted to €131.54 bn, according to final
results by Statistics Austria. Compared to the same period in
2014, Austrian imports increased by 2.8% while Austrian exports rose
by 2.7%. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €1.99 bn.
