Vienna, 2012-02-03 – 65 200 vacancies were reported by Austrian enterprises in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to the Job Vacancy Survey conducted by Statistics Austria. This means a 17.4% decrease in job vacancies compared to the fourth quarter of 2010. More than 40% of all vacancies were notified by employers to the National Employment Agency. In 2011, 73 800 job vacancies were reported on the annual average. This is an increase of 6,8% compared to 2010.
