Vienna, 2010-08-30 – According to calculations by Statistics Austria, Austrian building construction and civil engineering companies produced a construction output value of EUR 4.6 bn in the reporting period January to May 2010 (a decrease of 11.1% over previous year). The output decreased both in constructions of buildings (-11.7%) and in civil engineering (-11.5%). Data from construction auxiliary trades is not taken into account.
