– The first three months of the current summer season 2010 close with
a rise in overnights of 1.4% to 29.78 million, according to the latest
available data from Statistics Austria. Arrivals rose by 5.3% and reached
an all time high of 8.79 million. Responsible for the increasing figures
in overnights was the considerable rise in overnights of resident (+2.8%
to 4.31 million) and non-resident visitors (+2.2% to 10.55 million)
in July 2010.
