| Methodical information, definitions: Starting with the reference month August 2009 Statistics Austria is publishing the provisional new passenger cars as an additional service on the 1st working day of the following month. The data are compiled on the basis of daily data files sent to Statistics Austria by the Austrian Insurance Association (VVO). These data are not checked regarding to plausibility and completeness. More detailed and final data on new motor vehicle registrations will be published on 9 February 2010. |
