Vienna, 24 February 2010 - According to the latest available data from Statistics Austria, in the winter season so far (November 2009 to January 2010) 27.52 million nights spent and 7.28 million arrivals were registered, representing a change of -2.0% and -0.1%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. For non-resident guests a decrease in nights spent (-3.5%) and arrivals (-1.8%) was observed, while nights spent and arrivals by resident guests exceeded the previous year's figures by 3.6% and 3.7%, respectively.
