Vienna, 2010-06-08 – According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria total imports amounted to 24.89 bn euro and total exports amounted to 23.81 bn euro in the period January to March 2010. Austrian imports increased by 3.8% and Austrian exports rose by 3.9% compared to the same period in 2009. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of 1.08 bn euro.
