Preliminary foreign trade results January - February 2010: increases in imports and exports
Vienna, 07 May 2010 – According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria total imports amounted to 15.30 bn euro and total exports amounted to 14.74 bn euro in the period January to February 2010. Austrian imports increased by 0.2% and Austrian exports rose by 1.6% compared to the same period in 2009. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of 0.56 bn euro.
