Vienna, 2010-06-10 – More than 800 students attended advanced training courses at 13 Austrian universities of applied science (Fachhochschulen) in the winter term 2009/10, more than half of them were enrolled in a course leading to a master's degree. Advanced training is mainly taking place in the fields of business and administration, public health and education, according to a new analysis of Statistics Austria's higher education statistics data. In total, 49 advanced training courses are offered. With nine advanced training courses, the widest choice is provided by the Management Centre Innsbruck.
