Production, sale and price structure of agriculture and forestry are essential statistical key data of the primary sector.

The present publication informs about the farm structure survey, the cultivation and harvest of field crops, the balance of feeding stuffs, fruit plantation and vintage, livestock as well as meat and milk production, completed by statistical data on hunting. Furthermore the supply balance sheets for agricultural products provide an important basis for market policy decisions. The importance of the agricultural and forestry producer prices is reflected in the data input for calculating the economic accounts for agriculture as well as forestry.

Some of these results are also offered at regional level (by Länder).
