Login as guest user

To log in as a guest user, please start the graphical user interface by using the link "IsisGUI - Start Graphical User Interface" situated on the homepage of ISIS Database. Subsequently, a page with varous login options is displayed.

Now, continue by selecting one of the options provided for guest access.

• access as guest user by means of a secure socket layer (SSL)
• access as guest user via normal access

Information for guest users

The following restrictions apply to guest users

• only (free) data restricted with regard to hierarchical structure an scope are presented
• it is possible to have free data presented with a special mark. See chapters "Context menu" and "Window options". Data displayed in grey are liable to charges, and data presented in red are free
• the online help describes the full scope of services rendered by the ISIS Database, which is why some chapters do not apply to guest users  
• the building or changing of output formats is not available
• the building or changing of user criteria is not available

Note...

Please note that the settings determined for the graphical user interface (e.g., the option of presenting free data in red) outlast the end of the session, i.e., they have remained active when the database is accessed for the next time.

All data of the ISIS Database, e.g., the query of certain segments, criteria, or items may be stored temporarily, only, as long as the session takes. This means that, when logging in for the next time, no queries will be in existence, any more.
